Today, GRAEFF officially launches the brand-new GMPL Series Melt Pressure Sensor with safety relay device. While continuously monitoring melt pressure with high precision, it can be optionally equipped with a safety relay overpressure protection module. One single sensor delivers both "continuous pressure monitoring + set-point pressure alarm". It provides reliable melt pressure safety interlock protection solutions for demanding working conditions including single/twin-screw extrusion, plastic compounding, modified plastics, rubber extrusion, PET spinning, sheet and film extrusion.

● 防腐耐磨涂层膜片：15-5PH / 17-7PH 可选，耐腐蚀、抗磨损，适应严苛介质工况；

● Auto Zero 自动归零：支持自动归零，操作简便、维护省心；

● 宽量程适配：量程覆盖 0~17bar 至 0~2000bar，标准螺纹 1/2-20UNF、M18×1.5，接口可定制。

Built on in-depth insights into the extrusion processing industry, the GMPL Series integrates continuous monitoring and set-point alarming, fully covering various melt pressure measurement and safety interlock protection scenarios:

● Safety Relay Overpressure Protection Module:Optional safety relay overpressure protection module with overpressure contact output to trigger extruder interlock alarm and shutdown protection, safeguarding equipment and personnel.

● Customizable Trigger Pressure Threshold:Pressure thresholds can be flexibly set according to process requirements to precisely match the safety limits of different production lines.

● Dual Protection from One Sensor:Continuous pressure monitoring and set-point pressure alarm are realized simultaneously. No additional alarm instrument is required, simplifying system configuration and reducing overall costs.

● High-precision and Stable Measurement:Accuracy up to ±0.25% FSO / ±0.5% FSO for stable and reliable long-term operation.

● Corrosion-resistant and Wear-coated Diaphragm:15-5PH / 17-7PH options available. Resistant to corrosion and abrasion for demanding media conditions.

● Auto Zero Function:Supports automatic zeroing for easy operation and hassle-free maintenance.

● Wide Range Compatibility:Measurement ranges from 0~17 bar to 0~2000 bar. Standard threads: 1/2-20UNF, M18×1.5; custom connections are available.

● 安全联锁保护：当熔体压力异常升高并达到设定阈值，传感器超压触点即时输出，联动挤出机报警、停机，将异常压力风险遏制在萌芽，最大限度保护螺杆、机筒等核心部件，护航产线连续稳定运行；

● 适配严苛工况：适用单/双螺杆挤出、塑料造粒、改性塑料、橡胶挤出、PET纺丝、板材薄膜挤出等工况，尤其适合需要熔体压力安全联锁保护的挤出生产线及挤出主机配套。

The core demand of industrial measurement and control lies in translating technical advantages into safety value and operational efficiency. The GMPL Series is continuously optimized in this regard, balancing functional safety and convenient maintenance:

● Safety Interlock Protection:When melt pressure rises abnormally and reaches the set threshold, the sensor’s overpressure contact provides an immediate output to trigger the extruder alarm and shutdown. It contains abnormal pressure risks at an early stage, maximally protecting core components such as screws and barrels, and ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the production line.

● Suitable for Demanding Working Conditions:Applicable to single/twin‑screw extrusion, plastic compounding, modified plastics, rubber extrusion, PET spinning, sheet and film extrusion and other working conditions. It is especially suitable for extrusion production lines and main extruder units requiring melt pressure safety interlock protection.
